I offer confidential and professional therapy/counselling sessions. Whilst yoga is a therapeutic practice in itself if practised regularly and frequently, sometimes a talking therapy can provide a deeper dimension to a problem that is not touched by yoga. Yoga provides deep working of the body which can release emotions and therapy can complement this by offering further reflection.

Self-help Course - Autumn 2010

Tthis course helps with:

  • self-confidence
  • being assertive
  • expressing your self more openly
  • learning about how you make decisions

This is a system for self-directive help as well as for receiving and giving support in a safe, co-operatively-led wider network or local group. Local groups are set up by anyone and are jointly led by everyone in attendance, or people meet to work together in pairs or people attend the Residential events to develop what they know.

There is an initial learning of the Fundamentals to complete which covers 6 days, which takes place over one weekend and several evenings, in Leeds which will provide you with the tools to use for yourself. Everyone in the network receives identical training with the exception of a training in Scotland. The residential events or day gatherings are a chance to meet people and develop connections with people.

There are UK residentials which can last for long weekends or for one week, held throught the year. These provide a confidential space and the opportunity to use the residential for socializing and making new friends, or dealing with a problem, or having relaxed fun or tapping into your creativity. People go for walks, dance, play music, have serious talks with each other and share with each other.
